Intel is a chip manufacturer with the mass consumers being us. I can go to any computer store and buy an Intel chip that comes in nice packaging. POET is nowhere near where Intel is at yet and it will be some other company manufacturing, marketing and selling the chips to mass consumers and POET will benefit from the massive amount of licensing $$$. This is the current business model, but could change as the company grows.
Eileen, you say you are a marketing expert. So I think we can both agree the Super Bowl isn't the place for POET yet. I am in business too, more precisely product management and marketing and it makes no business sense to spend massive amounts of money to target the wrong audience (at this time, to clarify).
