Rainer your post is absolutely bang on there. I could not agree more.

The 15 second ad is drafted to put out a challenge to the viewer - 'One company is changing the fudementals of electronics...' -

That challenge is designed to draw a reaction, e.g.- Yeah! and who the hell is that? one asks - the ad responds -'POET Technologies' , but more sublimaly it leaves the viewer asking questions - what fundementals have they changed. I wonder what the hell POET Technologies has done? Who will tell me?

Yes a quick response is needed from POET or the effect would be lost as Rainer points out.

The question is who from POET will respond and when?

We must remember that we were not meant to get early sight of this ad so when is a point in the future. I seriously doubt the superbowl is the place for the challenge to be answered as It's quite obviously designed to be the leading banner of an interview, and as B- TV specilises in speaking to CEO, we are expecting a new one, and what better way to introduce Rory (my guess) than to give him the leading role in launching POET on a TV show.

The question we should be asking is what day does B-TV schedule such interviews. My enquiry on b-tv.com drew a blank, but Eileen will know I'm sure. They do have a Biz television show scheduled for Mondays 0900 PST

IMO this is all about introducing the new CEO. Timing is anyones guess, it will happen so don.'t be too disappointed if it's not today. But certainly not for Superbowl.

In the UK 6 Nations Rugby Kicks Off next Friday with Wales versus England so I do understand the OT fun of superbowl for you North Americans.
