On this coming Friday, I will be visiting my brother - he masquerades as Sulasailor on this forum, so named after the trimaran he owns - for one hugely important occasion, the English rugby football team will be visiting Cardiff to play the Welsh 15. So what, I hear you say, well, England has a population of some 55,000,000 and little old Wales a little less than 3,000,000. 2 years ago, Goliath came to Wales and little David smashed them 30:3. Such humiliation is not unknown in the past and Wales have beaten all comers in the Northern Hemishphere several times in a season over the last 10 years.

So, spare a thought for next Friday, it's our superbowl, is 125 years old, and the occasion will be celebrated by that other product of the northern UK, known throughout the world as Whiskey, a Scotch, amber gold. Oh! by the way, Wales has one distillery that produces whiskey, it's called Penderyn. Buy it, its good. It's logo is "Ivor Penderyn Inside".
