Sorry etops, possibly I got you wrong. Your post was removed, so I could not see its content. I just could see that old stories came up again - re-split, or what if a CEO/CTO... disappears. Such discussions we had a lot in the past. It just plays into the hands of daytraders and shorts.
Many risks are desctibed in the SEDAR filing of POET.
For me - and I guess also for Doodlebug and many others - POET derisked during 2014. This de-risking does not mean that all possible risks are gone - no such blind beople on board here. But - compared to most companies on the venture exchange, and also compared to the OPEL or the POET of last years, the risk with this stock seems to be small, even smaller compared to most of the NASDAQ companies.
So we are discussing incredible risks, like: oh god, POET could be taken over - for only 10 CAD. Or disappointment that the share price only doubled during the last 4 years. Is it such a big problem to sell a part of these shares - after 80% profit?
I guess one sever problem with POET is that some investors are demanding a right to multiple their investment within months. And this can lead to disappointments. The 70$ club has a dream, but not a guarantee.
So let us stay cool, and let us watch POET. I am 99,5% sure that we will multiply, and we will not loose our investment. I can not tell this from many DOW100 companies - or from INTEL :-)
