Any achievement accomplished via silicon will be that much better with poet on gaas. As most of us know, the breakthroughs in chip architecture on silicon can often be mirrored in gaas, leveraged in the same way. Also, poet on gaas does not need many of the "tricks" silicon has do execute to get better performance. This is the advantage of working with industry leading chip designers, people like Synopsys, we can get the best of both worlds.
The poet advantage...poet has the keys to a true and viable III-V material solution in which physics give us the highest trump card. Poet receives better performance with a more elegant design ....
Let's not forget
Poet operates at a fraction of the power of silicon and significantly less than this arm chip or any other bleeding edge silicon processor.
Poet is less costly to manufacture, and can be made in older facilities making it attractive to the bulk of semi conductor manufacturers out there (is 40nm+ sizes). Also, poet has tremendous upside when they decide to go to smaller nodes.
Poet will have the ability to integrate optical and electrical on a single die. No one has come close to make that work with any medium...and the result is orders of magnitude better the competition. A huge advancement vs current tech.
There is tremendous technology IP held by poet and the future is extremely bright...rest well.
