Age is just a number, but somedays I really would like a lower number.
Yes there could be a few reasons. That could mean everything from they are not ready to announce the commercial to the fact that this is a slow build up to that or other announcements. If we can find out what media company they have contracted this will give us a clue as to future plan of the whole program. I have some ideas as why and what but nothing firm as yet in the whole overall plan department.
One possibility exists that they may feel they doin't have to advertise to a large extent because the product will eventually do all the talking.
Many, many years back when I first came to Canada from Britain, I had exposurre to a lottery advertising program from a large government gaming department. It was a 90 day duration. It started with billboards and print adds with nothing but the word "HUGE" on it. No colour, no images just one word. The second month it was again one word, this time "HUGER" (not much for grammar these ad copy guys lol). Again plain white billboard, no colour involved and nothing else but the word.
Month three, same thing one word and this time "HUGEST"was the word. By now peopel were going insane wondering what the heck this was and was all about. In my office people were talking about it and guessing what the heck it was.
Finally in week 4 of the third month, the whole message was placed on the board with a byline on the largest jackpot in history was coming to the province. I will always remember it because before social media and before mass media, everyone talked about it even some of the newspapers of the day had editorials on it.
