If they get into bed with Apple, they better lawyer up - in the recognizance of what Apple did to GTAT. I feel 100% certain Apple used their bargaining strength in that relationship to purposely put GTAT under and acquire their IP.
Of course, the best way to come out on the winning side as a supplier to Apple would be NOT to need any of their money for R&D, as GTAT did. I think we should be safe in that regard, unless POET gives into pressure to accelerate the development of something for them. Hopefully, if that situation were to occur, they would raise capital through a secondary offering and not take Apple's strings-attached money.
