Here we are on February 11, the clock is ticking. I am feeling pretty good about my investment, and really feel as if something is brewing and not that far away. Some details to tie it together and put some perspective on the upcoming potential:
- BNN analyst comments did not result in a lower SP today.
- Lots of potentially significant SP catalysts on the horizon - new CEO, new executives, 40nm PDK Synopsys, partner(s), revenue, something unexpected?
- Lots of cash in the bank.
- The potential of a depressed SP due to the recent warrants did not happen and is done.
- The recent news was excellent (our view) but given it was not "the news", recent history would have resulted in a lower SP and that did not happen.
- Seems to be a masterful plan in place, details to the world soon? The TV ad. Might be that part of the plan is that Ajit will soon become vocal and make comments to support the technology, and there will be a lot of people listening to him.
- The technology is progressing and does not appear to have hit any roadblocks at 40nm. It has been said "build it and they will come". Well, it is looking a lot like POET has the IP and advancement of the technology to get it "built", who will be "building it"?
- It was mentioned by POET that repeatability was becoming an issue in the UCONN Lab, but from the recent NR "where this new flow at our third party foundry accelerates and adds repeatability and quality to our manufacturing process". Good to hear this!
- Pure speculation, but would love to see Google as a partner for servers. Not sure who to "pick" for phones. Many other applications as well, and not to forget about the potential for military, might be soon?
- NASDAQ (and SP to get there).
- It will be significant once performance specifications become public, as this will not be ignored, and those who do will be left behind. I also think the specs will be great, with spectacular to follow (including fully developed optical), not to mention lower cost, etc.
Seems to be falling into place nicely, wish I was a fly on the wall during meetings with POET.
Good luck, here's to good times ahead!!!
