I get the wear and tear on our emotions on this Poet ride. However, lets keep trying to gain insights into our investment that help us determine if we are on the right track with our overall positive thoughts concerning Poet and the direction.

Take a look at this overview of a European project.

Now take a look at this summary of an International workshop held just two weeks ago in Italy.

http://www.iii-v-mos-project.eu/media/presentations/opening-iii-v-mos-workshop-at-the-eurosoi-ulisx.pdf

This European project was started in late 2013 and is to last for 3 years.

Look at the statements in the presentation overview. (ie. "Why III-V compound semiconductors can help")

Take a gander at the companies involved in the workshop? GF, Synopsys, IBM. These companies sound familiar?

And what do you think some of the workshop presentations were about? Topics sound familiar? Check some recent Poet NRs.

"Oleg Penzin (Synopsys -USA): Mobility and quantization in III-V semiconductor materials from a TCAD perspective."

"Fabian Bulfler and Axel Erlebach (Synopsys - Switzerland): Enhancements to TCDA tools for advanced III-V semiconductor devices)"

plus - "Live demo of the new features of Synopsys TCAD tools for III-V semiconcductor devices"

Yes, this outlines just another piece of a very complicated puzzle. Believe me, there are many more pieces.....many more connected dots.

I am sorry, but I believe Poet is on the right track. Will the company be monetized? I think so. Will our technology be the answer to a major industry, worth billions. Dunno. Will Poet be adopted by that industry? Dunno. Hope so.

As I noted in a previous post - given the complexities of what Poet is trying to do, and the need for the semi industry to latch on to something new to move forward, and with the immense connectivity and collaborations in the semi industry, I think we are part of a much bigger fish than we imagine. I sure hope so. It is just taking time to reel it in.

Try to hang on to the fishing pole, Scary!
