Founded in October 2010, Wavetek Microelectronics Corporation is a member of UMC's New Business Group located at UMC Fab 6A in the Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan. Wavetek is the first 6-inch GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) foundry in the Hsinchu Science Park.

Wavetek owns the most highly advanced III-V manufacturing process and facility that leverages expansive scale to deliver competitive, value-added products and services for customers. We provide high-performance, customized features and high-quality GaAs MMICs (Monolithic Microwave ICs) and RFIC (Radio-frequency ICs) for commercial applications, as well as III-V CPV (Concentrated Photovoltaic) cell chips for the field of renewable energy.
