Invitation!

The party is dated 2nd of April 2015!

AM is a strategist, so I guess he is the art director of this event.

The story started beginning of 2014...

- 1/2014: AM left GF for a pleasant retirement - but still consulting them. A genious mind can not stop thinking.

- about 4/2014: The problems IBM had with their chip production was getting evident.

- About the same time AM was approached by PC and found: The game changer!

- 7/2014: AM signed as Executive Vice Chairman of POET

- 20.10.2014: The deal IBM/GF was signed

- 22.10.2014: Two days later the lab to fab project was announced by POET. This is no coincidence! East Fishkill has plenty of bright minded specialists + free capacities to support the lab to fab transition.

For me it is evident that when AM signed with Poet, possibly even before, he started to introduce his project to his successor Sanjay Jha (former Motorola and Qualcomm!). All for sure under strict NDA, not to warn e.g. IBM!

The result of this master plan we soon will see, when POET will lift the curtain and reveille the 3rd party foundry end of March/ beginning of April. I am very sure this 3rd party is GF:

- GF received a nice foundry which soon will be able to produce state of the art POET chips in 100 and 40nm nodes, with minimal investment and maximal potential! What is the worth of such a FAB??? Billions!

- In addition GF received significant IP, not just for 14nm FinFet, but also about alternative technology (what do you think about these lines? (http://www-03.ibm.com/press/us/en/photo/45113.wss ? Post silicon material is interesting for POET?

- And GF received a nice gift, a bag full of cash – to pay the transit to a new technology, - and to pay significant NRE to their partner of this plan!

I am sure at this party POET will receive reputation + NRE in significant amount (imagine the value of East Fishkill + POET!).
Customers of GF will be invited; Google, Apple, DELL, all the bunch.
And I will dance all night long! Our dance will shake the earth :-)

(This is just my theory, I guess it makes much sense).
