Perhaps we'll give the chance for companies without VCSEL experience to enter the VCSEL market or apply VCSELs in their products.. It could be very valuable to someone who relies on Finisar for example.

Insteed of buying Finisars VCSEL, buy POET's blueprint and intergrate it on your IC.
