" Toronto tech firm signs R&D deal with BAE Systems The collaboration includes process transfer, prototype builds and design enabling kit development"

It is interesting that this partnership is "non-exclusive". I'm not sure what it all means, but the wording suggests this deal with BAE is just the first partnership, with more to come. Something else to look forward to.

Collaboration Agreement with BAE

POET Technologies Inc. (the "Company") signed a contract with BAE Systems under which BAE Systems will provide non-exclusive third-party foundry services in support of the Company's "Lab-to-Fab" transition plan.
