My take is that Tony is linked to POET on behalf of Apple, of course, he does work for Apple. In the spirit of secrecy, Apple's name is not officially used. Apple may have sent Tony to POET, this can be in line with "no dealings with Apple" in that Chris is not aware of any dealings (discussions?) between POET and Apple that resulted in Tony's involvement with Apple. All Chris knows is that POET dealt with Tony's side (I would think this is the same as with Apple, given where Tony works, but maybe "discussions" and "dealings" is supposed to really mean something different, who knows).

I would also not be surprised if Chris is not in the loop for much of the secret things in the works. Ajit may have had discussions with Apple (likely has), but this does mean he told Chris this.

Given how confused we get at times with this type of stuff, imagine a normal investor that has only read a few news releases, pretty much why the SP is where it is.

We will find out soon enough, and however we read this, Tony's involvement is huge.
