Dear Eileen,
There's a common phrase used in the UK which you would not hear said by a certain class of English person who would frown at such a common and vulgar expletive. But for me Eileen, it seems the most suitable phrase to react to your post and the notion that a notable such as Barrack might champion POET.
'YOU'RE DOING MY HEAD IN'
That said it is a thought that has flited through the murky connections and synapses of the sailor's brain, usually accompanied by the smell of burnt wire and a crackling sound (or is that my joints).
If POET is a disruptive technology, a paradigm shift, and for me it is. National implications, technological security and politics could enter the fray. Given AM's role on a presidental committee he speaks at a high level with leaders.
You make an interesting point Mrs Teahon.
Have a happy and blessed Easter,
Sulasailor
