There are some comments regarding the lowish volume / steady SP following the recent announcements .... Blevins, DeBonis and Lavosky.
The layering we are seeing with the additions of Semicon Industry veterans (and in particular Blevins) is tremendous.
It will take a little time for new investors to conduct their DD before obtaining a position.
Furthermore, we are still a non revenue entity, and we still reside on the Venture. These 2 points literally mean the vast bulk of serious investors (US institutions and high net worth types) will predominantly wait until 2 catalysts are delivered by POET; they are :-
1.0 A deal with a major corporation with NRE (potential becomes reality)
2.0 Uplisting to the NASDAQ
The milestones are great tech advancements, but remember it is the Industry requested milestones that lead to deals; they are prerequisites.
A whopping CEO name will also be great, but again, it is points 1.0 and 2.0 above that really put POET into play.
It is clearly the intent, ref PC on the record, stating he will uplist to the NASDAQ from a position of strength, which can only mean a deal in hand.
So I agree with those with the point of view that we will see, very soon, the first deal, and it is this deal that will propel the SP to levels that will activate the NASDAQ uplisting.
Then when we are on the NASDAQ, those institutions that are waiting on the sidelines will come into play; do not underestimate that most institutions are prohibited by policy to buy Venture stock.
So DEAL .... then NASDAQ .... then doors open or green light for the Big Institutions to engage.
That is when the SP will really move, and boy will it move quickly.
And from what PC said in the CIC presentation, I think that first deal ink is imminent.
Enjoy the road to riches.
