I asked a small question on an Apple message board...

Hi everybody.
My first post here.
Someone could tell me if it is common for Apple to place a VP on the board of a junior company with no income?
This VP is Tony Blevins.
Moreover the junior did not mention that Mr Blevins was from Apple.

Here are the few replies i had:

- I've been following this thread for years and I don't remember anyone mentioning anything about that subject.

- It seems like it might indicate a possible take over?

- It would have to be an exception. Apple doesn't have enough VPs to cover all their takeovers.

- Sometimes a tiny company will pay a prestige retired person or ex-politician to be a director or have some type of association with them, to gain credibility with naive investors. Happens all the time with OTC stocks that are trying to develop an interesting business story, even though they don't have an actual business. And maybe the person named is not the one at Apple.
