it's very interesting (at least to me) that the terminology "3rd-party foundry" is still being used, after they've explicitly named BAE in the "non-exclusive" (!) foundry contract.
this leads me to speculate that there's another foundry player active in the mix, who cannot yet be named.
is this tree worth barking up?
what's the present status of GF's acquisition of the IBM facilities? is it complete?
I'm especially curious about B323, for partly personal reasons. (i.e., will I be right yet again? LOL)
does this (from Tuesday last week) foreshadow anything?
Game of Thrones, indeed.

PS (too lazy to do a separate post):
I'm also considerably curious about the second-to-last paragraph of this fresh semiwiki article from our friend Daniel Nenni, who remains sitting undecided on the POET fence.
It's plausible that he's been kept intentionally out of the loop, since he's not particularly an industry fan of Ajit's, or so the rumours go.
Could his "unless I'm missing something" be because AM wants to enjoy a bit of "nyah nyah I told you so!" ?
More importantly, could his "surprise" at the basebands for the next gen of fruit chips being kept architecturally separate from the SoC be because Saint Fruitly has planned the components to be a bit ... "Tayloresque"?
