You must excuse me if I am off base here as I have been out of the work force for 22 years now. Low hanging fruit to me was the multitude of customers/clients/products that produced a minority of the profits ie. the 80/20 rule due to the high amount of effort and time required to get the least amount of profit. At times the low hangers even ran at a loss. The major accounts were the big money makers. Seeing as we will not be a chip producer, we will not even interface with the low hangers. In my eyes, we will only be doing business with (all, I hope) the big boys hence we have to get it right. If it takes an extra Q to get it done, good. But please don't lie to us. Integrity is huge in any business. So is excellent communication.
Patiently waiting.
