You're speculating on the importance of news to come. Maybe our next NR is simply going to state that we're going to paint our POET chips blue in color. We're not guaranteed to have earth shaking news imminently or as per next release.

A halt also doesn't allow you to buy and sell as a shareholder, and halt arn't always positive either.
