So let me get this straight, you think someone is going to pay $12B for a company that has nothing?...because that's what it sure sounds like.

You cannot get to $12B without having something substantial, first.

If any sort of "bidding war" starts up, I think you can be fairly certain that POET has something that a lot of people are going to want.

And if a lot of people want it, $12B will not happen because the price will be through that number before bidding starts.

No offence baba, but I don't believe that will be the way this goes.

POET will announce what they have soon (MS announcements). This should take away ALL of the risk immediately.

Then, they will announce partners, or an offer, or a collaboration of some sort. It won't matter which because the value of the company will have risen several fold due to the major risk being eliminated.
