Yes '67, it's not necessary for anyone to step aside, especially for someone so vital to the contribution pool.

I'll release a secret....I have never, ever, given one recommendation to any post; I don't feel the need to, nor do I need the affirmation of my thoughts because, well, they're just my thoughts. When I post something and get no thumbs up it doesn't hurt my feelings, I just guess no one cared. Conversely, when I read a good post I usually post a comment on the board affirming it or send a PM to the poster thanking them.

The scoring method here is poor to be sure, and fallible in the extreme for reasons posted here today. There is no way you could make it transparent, nor is it really necessary, since it wouldn't matter if FJ had 20,000 points or none at all...I would still read what he, and the other leaders, had to post.

The posters on this board who have done all of the heavy lifting are few, and they know who they are. I believe I can speak for many in saying that you are hub leaders because of your strengths in gathering information. This could be due to the business you are in or the people you are connected to. Again, it doesn't really matter, we're just grateful that you are here and sharing your information with us.

We're all adults, I think, so we should be able to determine the wheat from the chaff fairly quickly and discount those that need to be. These issues always appear when there is a lack of news and this time is no different....
