Dr Subhash Deshmukh is Vice President for Emerging Technologies and Products in the Office of Corporate CTO of Applied Materials. Prior to rejoining Applied Materials, he served as Vice President and General Manager for Plasma Products Business Unit as well as Vice President for Business Development for Varian Semiconductor Equipment. Before moving to Varian Semiconductor, he served as General Manager for Dielectric Etch Products Division of Applied Materials. Subhash previously served in a number of executive and management positions with increasing responsibility at Applied Materials, Lam Research, and AMI Semiconductors. He holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences has authored and co-authored over 55 technical articles and has been granted over 27 patents, with several patents pending.
