Yeah, and many people still do think predictions like "we will have this and that ready by then" could be accomplished. They can't. Scrum suggests tools to make better predictions possible, based on the team's past experience. Uncertainty can be quantified, but still remains – as well as changing requirements.

By the way, changing requirements are very important since this is what happens all the time. We have already learned that POET Technologies has adjusted milestones to take them into account – and rightfully so! There are new requirements, therefore we won't stick to the original plan any longer, but change it as needed.

Scrum does not focus on delivering certain features at certain pre-defined dates, but rather on maximizing a product's overall value by constantly inspecting the work and constantly adapting to a complex and ever-changing world.
