They would have had to make some kind of deal for some (a large amount) of POET shares to come up with $20mln. No way they could have got that kind of cash from other holdings. The question is not whether they made a deal for POET shares. Just a question of how many and to whom? I'm quessing the fruit company simply because of Blevins and the fact that we have no idea how we got him? So Apple will be as quiet (POET too) on what's taking place as they can be. Soon, very soon, all hell is going to break lose and we're going to be very happy. Just the trading alone yesterday gives reason for something coming soon.
