I am attending the MS ignite conference of 25k people and during the keynote they spoke of their vision for quantum computing. Short term they are working with programable chips and I believe they get 2x acceleration. Long term they spoke of a new particle they discovered in 2012 called marjorama which could take 15 or 50 years to stablelize. It is so new that they can't even predict when it will be ready and needs -459 degrees cooling. Poet is almost there and is 10x faster. As GT said all roads lead to poet.
