Sorry DASH but no, it is not investable because it is on the venture exchange - that alone will keep it out of a lot of funds (you are correct though - price is also an important consideration - therefore you may still need the consolidation). And, having watch a great number of these things in the last 20 years, I can tell you it works better with a broker's backing because otherwise a professional investor who spends all day tending his/her portfolio and watching the market will not necessarily stumble across the name. You want institutional investors to be interested because they will be wanting to buy $10-20 mln in value to put a position in a portfolio. so you may not like the bankers, but they do provide some measure of value.
