My Grandfather's best friend, Ted Turton, was the founder of Canaccord, along with Peter Brown. In the 1960s Mr. Turton was quite involved in mining. My Grandfather decided to roll the dice on a mining opportunity as he had great respect for Mr. Turton's instincts. This paid off in a big way and my grandfather was able to buy his acre of waterfront in West Vancouver, one of the most expensive districts in North America.
The point of the story is, my Grandfather was my age when this happened. Here I am today, betting on yet another exponential opportunity. The results may well pay off just as significantly. It would be nice, for me, if Canaccord really did become heavily involved. I could share the story with both the Turton family and my own, as Mr. Turton and my grandfather both passed away in recent years.
Anyway, just a fun personal connection. If I were insane enough to believe in stars literally aligning and history repeating itself because of a cosmic plan, this would be even more exciting. Of course, I'm not quite that insane.
Go destiny!
