Solar and wind power have their uses, but it is impossible to replace dispatchable power generation by volatile sources – at least as long people expect to have power available each and every moment they need/want it. The higher the share of volatile energy, the larger the problems!

Have a look at Germany and see its famous Energiewende failing! Without storage it is physically impossible, with storage it is economically infeasible.
