Fair enough, it is likely not the case with POET, as with many things we speculate on. I will tell you though that this happens a lot. A friend of mine, years ago, was involved with a lot of the junior companies on the Vancouver Venture, and many times they would do this to raise money, because no one would do any financing at the higher prices. Point being, they needed to keep the bankers happy or would not get any interest. Of course the company would prefer to do it at a higher SP, less dilution, but in fact there would be no dilution at a higher SP, because there would be no financing.
