Yes, TB was never in the running in my mind. It never made sense to have a potential customer running POET; they could've just bought us out for pocket change.
Clearly, the company was looking for someone with the technical knowhow to propel the company's IP forward.
It's easy in hindsight to see how the company came to their decision, but prior to that, we were all just guessing.
Global Foundries is quite obviously going to be involved in the production of the POET chip, to what degree still to be determined, but involved to some extent certainly.
I think we can all rest easier knowing that we have brilliant minds at the helm.
PS: I got cutoff from PM's by agoracom because i sent too many today...wrote them and asked wtf but no response. Weird.
