Short position has been and continues to be a red herring. First, it's very small, and, second, look, lots was covered and did anyone notice a short squeeze? No, because there aren't enough shares short to cause one.
If you really want to have a chance to see a short squeeze with POET, you're going to have to endure a lot of short selling, like 30,000,000 shares or so, and then there's a chance, but far from a sure thing. And trust me, we don't want to be a heavily shorted stock, we really don't.
This company does not need a short squeeze to fly. It would be a nice accelerant, no doubt, but just not in the cards for now. I don't know tech, I do know shorts and short squeezes.
