Two ways to view this from my perspective:

i) They hold off on news not because of macro events but due to Canada Day/Independence Day celebrations this week

ii) They choose to release news this week (granted milestones acheived) as a way of pre-empting a retrace in the stock price given the macro situation; rendering the mountain we have to climb smaller on the way up.
