Good Morning Baba
I was searching for an example that would illustrate that rather floral point.
In another life, I wrote some ad copy, old habits and descriptors die hard.
But mainly, I ran out of time on my self imposed deadline on those writings.
I liken it to an automobile. Say with 7 model levels, for example. The maker gets the sale of each unit, but also gets additional revenue from upline options, and features it includes in each model as you go from base to luxury. Special high margin features and benefits at the top to base model basic options. Each has its own net and gross cost and profit multiple. Once retooling costs are amortized in then its all profit after that set breakout pay off period.
In POETS case, its really the boutique of design advantage. Adding or taking away as required, it can benefit products in ways from base to luxury levels, from simple to complex functions, from creative to futuristic concepts.
