Eileen,

You certainly continued your excellent writing and contributions the last few days, of which "Billy Whizz" was one example. Although I enjoy and admire your stories and the time and effort to bring them to us in such entertaining fashion, I generally am not on board with your implications, or, more accurately, let's say, not anywhere near being as on board as you with respect to your ultimate vision. (At least the "ultimate" POET vision you've been willing to share to date!)

Having said that, your reasoning as to why things need to be silent in terms of, for example, milestone achievement (fear that much money and brainpower will be brought immediately to bear by large companies to make sure they can compete in the GaAs arena), has a certain ring of real world accuracy to it. Your theory is also consistent with the various new hires/affiliations, and the reasons such people would at this time become associated with POET. It suggests that the tech has essentially been proven, and that mass production of same at a non-prohibitive cost has been demonstrated or at least "promised" as being "no problem" by GF and/or others.

So one of the things POET would really want is to tie the company and the tech contractually with those key companies (be they large or otherwise) that can quickly deliver the promise of the tech, and maintain the hopefully considerable lead that Dr. Taylor has brilliantly fashioned in this area. It is far from the realm of fantasy that those types of activities have been ongoing for many months now, and at least a portion of the value of those activities will be rapidly reflected in the share price, once made public.
