PC's comment at the CIC event re NASDAQ in June was as firm a declaration of intent from POET's management that we have heard, albeit qualified by comments of typical POET lateness and built in lag for this. Disappointment that the promise was not delivered on in June is understandable but the more important issue is where are we at now? A little crystal ball gazing is necessary to answer that. Here are my thoughts. Whilst retreating into the background, since the appointment of our CEO, PC I feel is still committed, as POET's money markets man, to an uplisting on the NASDAQ; Uplisting remains an essential ingredient of monetisation. I am left wondering what PC is up to, now that he is freed from the CEO burden, we certainly have not heard anything, but money matters is an area that he claims an expertise that certainly exceeds his IC tech knowledge which was not his best suit. Clearly June is not happening, nor is the share price escalation route through a series of announcements in course. My theory is that a 'Big Bang' capital route to the NASDAQ is on the cards, where a significant influx of capital from a partner takes POET capital above the necessary capital threshhold. Hence the silence, the 'missed' promise, the hints of big players lurking in the background and the current cashing in of warrants which would aid capital build up. To me the RS 'amended' approval at the AGM indicates activity and changed plans in achieving this particular business goals. Rest assured the known high energy levels and terrier like determination of PC are being directed towards the NASDAQ goal. The lateness issue will be an embarrassment for him and IMO this will make him even more determined to deliver on his statement at the CIC by setting it as a personal goal albeit a late delivery. Too much water would have passed under the bridge for the new CEO to take this on, his focus will be technical Lab to Fab, the TRAB and the monetization plan for the Board of Directors. For PC there will have been regular meetings with the necessary authorities, the settling of support with the 'Big Name' and the necessary legal work to be resolved, all this will be well down the line which may put s in line for a nice surprise.

Finally, the coordination and stage management of how the 'Big Bang' news is delivered will be carefully coreographed, timed and planned., This in my view is where we are at, at the moment. The spoon feeding of news to wailing shareholders is irrelevant in the context of Big Plans. CC's comments are just soothing words from mummy and a red herring in my opinion, possibly to keep our eyes off pre-empting the Big News.
