I think I mixed up two posts in one. Sorry again for my bad English, I think I can be misunderstood.
First, it is not a concrete concern, it is pure investor fatigue. As I said, I’m in this since 5 years, my first kid had 1 year old when it started. Over the past three years, just like my son, this company completely changed (in a good way). I see tremendous things coming, that is why I'm still here. But this year was a special one, for the company and for me. We were told, more than once, that the revenue would start in late-2014/early-2015. The timing for that was just perfect, my wife was pregnant and with luck that could have been perfect for everything. In mars, people here (hubleader included) started to talk about an imminent big news, milestone already done, revenue supposed to be followed by the Nasdaq... With all this talk my expectations rose very high (and I will agree that it is 100% my fault, but this forum can be a double-edged sword for the moral). Since then, I had my third son and I wish everyone to have my luck. Kids are the most wonderful gifts in life.
That was for the first part of my last post.
The second part is about IP and secrecy in this very sensitive time. POET could be using that fact to hide a problem to shareholders, but the truth is that there is a good chance that they are trying to bring this technology to market without giving away a % in Intellectual Properties. Would you prefer to make a 0$ deal with BAE or another foundry and lose 50% of some of your new IP or pay 1M and keep it all? Or simply do it at your own lab if you truly believe you can do it yourself.
Warrants, Options and Pinetree have put big pressure on the share price, in counterpart our coffers are full and we are now in a situation of strength to bring the technology to the next level. The top priority should be protecting and locking down as much IP as we can. The MS8 made me understand that milestones can be done without any news
