it came up as one part of a longer post, but to dissect it out and call it scare mongering with some ulterior motive ... I ask you to reconsider is that reaching perhaps too far?

sure, scare mongering might be that, if coupled with "OMG the sky is falling! the sky is falling! sell your shares now before they hit a nickel!" ... but I hope you'll agree that the sky is not falling and I'm not that sort of person.
