Message: Transitional period of a new employee

From my experience working for a predominantly engineering company, from the first day which I was hired to work for the position, it took me about 6 months to fully perform my job duty in full capacity and full independence. In those 6 months, it was the most challenging task to get the knowledge transfer/training as a new employee who never had experience working with the company before. From the itsy bitsy details and the twist and turns to knowing ur connections/personnels to coordinate with so that your project could have the best outcome in the end. It takes skills, knowledge, time & experience, networking with other engineers and A LOT of hardwork before I get comfortable with the positional seat that I sit today. Dr. Venkatesan came over with less than 2 months ago. I'm sure his plate may be full with the following or similar: technical related processes, networking with new personnels/engineers, A LOT of more knowledge transfer, talking with partnership(s) (either trying to get it or assuming already has), and the list of itsy bitsy detailed tasks to do goes on. And this is a new company, with new roadmaps and discovery being discovered each new day, each step you take it must be precise and to the best. Everything is from scratch, there's no history that you can take a look back to learn from and build a better roadmap for the company. Just envisioning myself in the new CEO's position to take this company to the best direction is overwhelming. After my busy days of work and learning about the technical side of this technology, it is worth it. I have to say the brillance of this technology may overpower the possibly overwhelming busy tasks that Dr. Venkatesan is currently handling now.
