I would agree with your assessment of the statement, Rob.

I would also suggest that the answer could be deduced by asking the question, "Who would most likely license the entire intellectual property portfolio?" POET Technologies Inc. (PTI) is the obvious answer, since I don't think future licenses will include the whole portfolio. (I could be wrong)

But in conjunction with the context of the paragraph, which is patent and IP protection, I think the only conclusion can be that they are confirming that PTI has fully licensed the whole of the IP portfolio that Dr Geoff Taylor has developed at UCONN.

At least that's my assessment. I think if it was anything else, we wouldn't be hearing about it like this first, regardless of NDA's.

Still leaves a nice warm fuzzy feeling to know POET holds the whole IP portfolio in their control, don't you agree? :)
