Why the sudden assumption that Sheldon was fired?
Sheldon is a very shrewd businessman and the new POET Management most likely explained to Sheldon that the company would benefit significantly by bringing additional, heavyweight new talent onto the BoD.
Taylor and Sheldon offer very little value as BoD members within POET as it is today and where POET is going.
Sheldon would have been asked to respectfully step down and make room for new heavyweight talent which will act as an additional enabler to create significant ROI for shareholders.
Do you honestly think Sheldon would want to be a barrier to his own wealth creation?
I doubt that very, very much.
Furthermore, Sheldon will no longer be subject to the 'Trading Blackouts' ..... so he can buy, buy, buy if he wants to, and it is obvious that he is a strong believer in POET.
So we have 2 slots open on the BoD for more exciting talent.
Delighted to see the new Senior Management are quickly positioning POET for the spectacular future.
The Pinetree fiasco will burn itself out eventually.
By the 3rd week of September, the $0.35 warrants (already very little remaining) and Lee's 3M options (200,000 not in the money right now) will no longer be a overhang.
So with a little luck, and unfortunately a bumpy road until then, if Pinetree has sold most or all of the POET position by then as well, with solid news 'coincidently' released, as stated by our new CEO, it'll be very exciting trading times.
Roll on end of September ... until then I am ignoring the SP and ust waiting for further news updates.
This is all very exciting stuff.
