Bearb8: When someone finds something on the www that pertains to POET - it doesn't need vetting.

Agreed. When it's public, it's public. You can't put the tooth paste back into the tube. And remember, we are talking here about information in a LinkedIn profile or on a company website. We are talking about information that has been disclosed on purpose, not about information that has been obtained by hacking or by inadvertedly disclosing it by an irresponsible custodian. There's nothing wrong with relaying such information. This is what is called due diligence (DD). This is what people are expecting from this board, and rightfully so.

You might not like the information, i.e. a valuable employoee with valuable knowledge leaving the company, but that's the way it is. People come and go, fluctuation is normal, at least up to a certain degree. You might not like people posting their CV in order to get a new job. You might be afraid people could divulge company secrets on their new positions, and this fear might be justified up to a certain degree, because even with non-disclosure agreements in place, you cannot take out knowledge and experience out of people's heads. However, this is normal, too – face it. You cannot impose an occupational ban on former employees.

Of course it is regrettable when an experienced and knowledgeable employee leaves, but if a company's fate depends on a single employee, it has done something wrong anyway.

Suresh knows all this, of course, and his calmness is re-assuring. Don't worry!
