so Rainer, pardon me for saying that your comment sounds like Sheldon Cooper berating Howard Wolowitz.

why you would bring it up, I cannot fathom, except to split hairs ... you can just edit the management page, same as I can.

but ... they say art imitates life.

so, for those that watch, and perhaps this is apt, you'll note the bend writers used in the plot: Howard (MSc engineering, MIT), the only non-PhD is the only one to have actually achieved anything!

the work of all the other PhDs in the show is purely theoretical.

though notably, Bialik is a PhD in real life (UCLA, Neuroscience), is a script consultant (science continuity), in addition to playing Amy.

as regards Ajit ...

his BSc is from University of Delhi (India); his MSc. (Physical Chemistry) from KSU.

he was a grad student working for DOE in 1977, so I don't think it matters.

now, forty years later?

I do hold the opinion that "Chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association of Planet Earth" and "President of the United States of America Calls Me For Advice" probably each carry more weight, anyway.

(but, those are too long to put on a business card, though...)

GLAL,

R.
