Frankly, jtp, we didn't all believe in March that we'd see an SP around $4.00 at the beginning of July, perhaps a majority of those who post here did, but there were plenty of people that thought that number was pie in the sky, notwithstanding the CIC, which was, essentially, a sales pitch event.

The selling by Pinetree has had a very negative effect on the share price, no doubt.

The "news about news" release a while back, got people here quite excited, and if it's accurate that those associated with this forum have 60 million shares, and that well could be, if those people decided to add some more shares based on that release, it may well have accounted for some positive life in the share price. The rumors of large companies partnering with or investing in POET also got people excited and likely helped the share price in the face of what appeared to be more Pinetree selling and then more selling to fund exercise of warrants/options.

Bottom line, I'm going to disagree with your conclusion that "If we take all that in consideration the SP isn't that bad." It is bad, and it does not jive with the potential that most of us (me very much included) believe this company has, even though it always seems to be tantalizingly just out of reach.
