Jeremy Mish (→ LinkedIn profile) is what I would call an innovation manager or as he puts it: "I am looking forward to working with a company to meet their innovative goals and to help foster that atmosphere of creative thinking that will propel them through the next century and beyond."
He is working for various companies on projects in the range of a few months to almost 2 years. His longest term has been 3 years, 4 months for the US Navy.
From March to June 2015 he helped POET Technologies by leading a culture change initiative to become more structured versus complete research and development.
His LinkedIn profile has some details:
Tracked and recorded different experiments in the semiconductor build process
- VCSEL Laser Experiments
- nFETS Experiments
- pFETs Experiments
Developed a master schedule of all experiments to determine gap analysis of work being performed on each type of experiment
Coordinated work with vendor company to begin transfer of manufacturing processes
Jeremy describes himself as follows:
For the last few years I have been working in the field of project management. However as I progress through my MBA program I have been concentrating on the field of Corporate Innovation. This focus also leads to organizational change and creative thinking. My background is in history and IT, an interesting combination to say the least. Those areas plus my military service has given me the insight into how important innovation is to the modern business in order to be successful. After all, in the military we must always adapt, overcome, and improvise!
I am looking forward to working with a company to meet their innovative goals and to help foster that atmosphere of creative thinking that will propel them through the next century and beyond.
