I don't think true 100gbps has even been ratified by IEEE yet; that's due in April 2017, if it remains on schedule.

so, just a caution to beware this common marketing hoax.

consider.

if your crew is driving ten trucks down the highway at 10mph (aka the current IEEE standard 802.ba), or four trucks at 25mph (802.3bm), they are not driving 100mph.

saying they are is a big fat lie.

the initial ("slowest") model of POET trucks can each drive 50mph -- double the current state-of-the-art industry has. and POET trucks will only get faster as the model years progress.

drive as many down the highway as you want.

not much chrome, but hella engine.
