Great points, Mack!
As to the shareprice, while disappointing, it's not totally surprising. The investors that are targeted are (a) fairly to very savvy and (b) not in love with POET (yet, anyway). Most of them will not chase or even place market orders, especially for large amounts of shares. I could see some below the market bids placed with the idea that, given its history, the share price is likely to come to their bid sooner or later. Those investors are not in existence to make us current shareholders rich, they are in existence to make themselves the most money possible, and most of the time, that starts with well-timed, well-disciplined buys.
Most on this board see POET in a very different light (i.e., most have a very different relationship with POET) than do the people being pitched. That makes a huge difference in their behavior, and possibley makes their behavior difficult for some here to understand.
