Having participated in this board for two years I have observed that there have been a number of'Critical Thinkers' who have operated using pretty much the same Modus Operandi as we witnessed with Common Blackbird. Typically posing time wasting questions, that could be answered by themselves, which then occupy the time of willing decent posters here, who are just being thoughtful and helpful, and then there are the statements made that amount to disinformation whenexamined and challenged by the cognoscenti. Banning such individuals rarely happens immediately, but after the pattern behaviour and disinformation has been established.

I happen to think that this board is principally for retail investors who wish to share information in a positive sense, almost all negativity and doubts about the PTI Venture Capital investmenthave already been well expressed in the Risk sections of official documentation and accepting those risks is ones pass to being an active participant here, so we need little reminding of the risks or matters quickly become tedious.

To me the logic of anyone joining the board to be critical in a damaging way seems completely counter to the point of being a member, if unhappy then justsell up or don't invest.Consequently, making critical statements places a greater burden of proof on the individual making such statements.It can never be mere opinion, as such criticism often is. Critical statements must be backed by analysis or citation, as RVH mentions (the acid test). Clearly the critical mode its potentially more damaging to the purpose of the board, than the Rah Rah and Pom Pom enthusiasm mode, which is easily seen for what it is and in any case the glums here will quickly slap such exuberance down.Clearly pumping in the sense of disinformation is not to be tolerated either but Pom Poms can do little harm unlike the drip drip drip of negativity.

The task of Board Leaders to determine the right balance is a difficult and onerous one.No one would relish this stress-inducing task which so few sharebut it is an absolutely necessary task and a positive mark of this board regardless of what names thestock-housewallahs call us.We should be thankful for the policing Board Leaders provide.
