I see the volcano that is Mazan has once again erupted, this time a bit more ferociously than times past. And I hope he soon receives the encouraging words from whoever it is that he knows that will calm him down some (will be good for him and for his patients, can you imagine?)
I had a post all but finished earlier in the week, hit the wrong button on the keyboard (as I'm sure many have), and, poof, it was gone, so I said forget it.
But I'll give a truncated version now (mainly it was in response to a Sula post that talked about patience, especially in terms of waiting for news, among other warm and fuzzy things).
Here's what bothers me, it's not the news thing, they've promised something pretty detailed in January, and I think we'll get that, good or bad, I don't know. They said, more or less, that they hoped they would have other news items sooner than that, but if they don't they don't.
What bothers me is the share price action and the relatively small market cap. Neither can be looked on for much comfort with respect to where this company is going in the reasonably short term (6 months or so?).
Given all that's gone on, as reported here, I really would have thought we might have a rising trend in the price, not a huge jump, mind you, but a general uptrend, say on the order of 6 or 7 cents a month? We'd be about a buck Canadian now if that were the case.
Instead, we're not at about a buck, and my principal theory (of course, there are others) s that whatever the road show has done, one thing it has done is left audiences with the feeling of potential, but that the potential will not turn into significant deals/revenues/prospects or whatever might cause the stock to really start moving for a longer time than most here have anticipated.
Nothing else makes near as much sense to me as that.
If the share price would be steadily, albeit slowly, moving up, I don't think Mazan loses it, becauses of the implication of a rising share price. No matter what anyone here says, the share price movement over the last three months does not generate the same implication as a modestly rising one (with some decent volume) would.
There are some terrific tech guys on this board. Not so many stock guys.
