I don´t care too much for Apple, there´s enough to earn without. For the moment, Poet doesn´t aim at end consumer/mobility procucts, these things are far off (officialy). Poet´s presentation for the european roadshow says at slide 17: OnChipOptics will come at 2019. (see link library) That´s why share price has nothing to do with Apple fantasy and even if Blevins leaves Poet´s SP wouldn´t decrease that much.

One day Poet will do so, and maybe this day is not so far, and maybe Apple will play a major role. There is a good chance as Mr. Blevins is still on board and when Poet´s technology gets adopted apple doesn´t have another choice anyway. I think that´s the reason why he is still on board: to observe, influence and react. He is not there to act today.

We will have years of fun if Poet will keep to it´s timelines. There are more urgent topics than Apple. I´m waiting for the promised granular informations...
